An architectural pond occupies the heart of this large retail center located in Cairo’s tony outskirts. The pond’s central, asymmetrical performance fountain was designed to be differently enjoyable from venue viewpoints all around its perimeter. The installation’s intersecting arc of bursting geysers and row of transforming arches are choreographed to music and changing-color lighting. The dynamic, central water feature and its perimeter of social experiences contribute to Cairo Festival City’s regional popularity.
