In Qingdao, China Resources obtained a former military base to create the city’s crowning residential, hotel and shopping destination, China Resources Center. The project’s retail Winter Atrium is glassed in on two sides, allowing light to permeate the interior all year round . The Atrium is further activated by a dramatic water installation comprised of suspended water chains, falling into an arrangement of overlapping circular pools, rippling in outward flowing waters.
